It seems we are both S-O-L, as far as stuff on the web just to read. We're going to have to buy it off e-bay or go to the local auto parts store and pick up a chilton or haynes.

There is one place where you can view manuals on your car.... Autozone.com go here: http://autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker...ginRepairGuide

Then click the year of your car, then Toyota, then you car. Don't know if it has all cars in there, or just some. Good luck.

I used

techinfo.toyota.com

as I remember it was like 10$ a day (24 hours), that was enough to get complete repair manuals and TSB's

Check with your library they may have a manual.

Also ask them if they have access to Alldata or The Auto Reference Repair Center websites. The info is in PDF and can be printed.

Check E-Bay and dont make the search too narrow and look through them there is a guy named carmanualguy who has paper and PDFs that you can buy (Factory)

that's an interesting site, Hugo. I might just check that out. If you're saying that it only works for a day would it be possible to get info on more than one car? What kind of manuals? Not only do I wanna get the chassis manual (to use some GM terminology here) I also wanna get the transmission manual, and the wiring manual.

I have a 93 camry, but while I'm at it I also would wanna get the 05, 96, and 04 information as well. Would that be possible for $10. If the only contingency was my connection speed than cool, but It looks like I would have to plunk down skrilla in advance of finding this out from them.

For educational materials on working on toyotas check out my other posting.

yes, after you subscribe you can access all Toyota models as far as I remember from 1990 till today. They have service manuals (select engine, cooling, driveaxle etc etc. and go from there), wiring manuals, body repair manuals, technical training (how systems work, troubleshooting etc), ATM Unit repair, diagnostics (DTC codes, descriptions and inspections),owners manuals, service campaigns, TSB's, recall info etc.
I took sick day and managed to download all that info for my car. It wasn't bad for 10 bucks. BTW it's all in pdf files - little confusing at first those file names...

I took a look at that service manual server, cost 10 and it is designed to make it time consuming to download documents. It's got some dorky information about fixing annoyances as well as problems, like a falling trunk and water dripping from the trunk etc.
