Question Quess:what is this engine's model?

I'm a greenhorn both in Camry and this Nation, and glad to meet everyone!

The picture below is my car's engine, please guess what 's the model?

Thanks! Is this model normal or unusual for Camry?

Cool

No biggie. The forum you've hosted it on doesn't allow outside viewing.
Excuse my ignorance, 'cause I don't keep up with the 4c motors. Looks like a 3s-fe to me.

I put it on my photobucket. I'll probably delete it at some point in the future.

I suggest finding a free hosting site (or two) that works on all of your forums, then just linking everything to there. (I like Photobucket. It doesn't require membership to view pictures and has a descent amount of rom for free)

*edit* deleted.

Thank you! Could you please tell me how to attach my pic on my post in this forum? Not only link to another site.

You are an expert! But the 3s-fe what you guess is close not exactly! And how did you know it is a 4cyl motor?

How do you know that? Because in all the user manual and repair manual, 2VZ-FE has 6 spark plugs located wiht 2 line on the engine. But this one only 3 plugs on it, why?

Excellent! You bingo at 2nd!

But how do you know? Was it the normal equipment for the Camry?

This is my car's engine! A '90 Camry V6 LX, Auto. I bought it from the only owner of that car this month. It is my first car, I love it very much. But I have so many questions to ask and to learn, please don't feel bored with my questions.

Well. I dont think there are any 3cyl camry's out there. And it says four cam so its gotta be a v6.

Unhappy

I just think it is so strange, a V6 has only 3 spark plugs! Furthermore, the illustration in the User's Manual normally has 6 plugs? What's the reason they changed that and What's the difference between them(6 & 3 plugs)?

Thank you! I'm so worry about my car if the engine has been changed or repaired.
