wires through firewall

ok i have read a number of post about running wires through the rubber grommet on the drivers side wheel well...
i have a gen 4 5sfe
everyone keeps saying to take the plastic off from the wheel well....i havent been able to go look yet but should there be some sort of plastic piece that is covering the inside of my wheel well that when i remove it i should see the gromment with the wires so i can run wires through there???

ALSO
how do i go about removing the plastic in the wheel well???

1. Jack up the car.

2. Remove the front drivers side wheel.

3. Remove the fender liner. Its held on with bolts, screws, and clips.

Help!!!!

ok im running some wires from the engine to the inside...i have removed the plastic inside the wheel well...the wires can easily go through the grommet going from the engine INTO the wheel well...then there is a second grommet where the wires run from inside the wheel well into the car...there is NO ROOM AT ALL for me to run any wires through!!! what should i do???

You should be able to feed the wire through one of the grommet which have stock wire in it. There maybe other rubber plugs you can drill a hole to feed the wire.
