i have upgrade my headlights with hipper white xeon bulbs. i was wonder if anyone know where i can get some xenon corner lights for my clear coners to match with my headlights. i have bought some cheap ones from ebay which cost me a hell of a lot of cash ($15.99 shipped), but it doesnt even look like the one they describe in the ad. i think i was rip off because the shipping cost was more then i expected (cost $6.00 to ship, while its only $2.00)
well...all i kno is i went to my local audio sensations (tuner/audio place) and ordered some PIAA Ultra Whites from them...they are so white they look blue...i did this to blend into my silverstars (now theyre brighter)...cost a lot though...15 bucks for 2 bulbs

ya, if anyone knows anything about this chime in i wanna know too. i have eurodezigns and they are good enough to match my headlights but i am getting silverstars or hirs soon so they will need to be brighter. there was a gen 4 on here with really white corners, i asked him and he said they were razo, but i cant seem to find them anywhere.
On the subject of clear lenses, does any1 know what's legal or illegal when it comes to corners, brake lights, etc? I was looking at one site that offered clear tails and they stated "only for off-road/show use, not responsible for fines, check your local/state laws, yada yada yada...".
BTW, sorry if I missed this topic covered elsewhere, tried to Search but haven't found anything yet....

Anything but amber for corners is illegal. Dont give cops an easy reason to pull you over. I have mirror coated ambers (APC Titans i believe...) in my clear corners. Silver when off, amber while lit and signaling.

I used to have hyperwhites from the same company (CUZO) for headlights and blinkers, but they didn't match at all. From what I've read its difficult to match both headlights and blinkers. They looked HOT at night, but sucked for driving around so i swapped back to OEM. Are you looking for the blue tint match? or for the lighting match? When the lights were off, they matched since both bulbs were blue, but when they were turned on, the blinkers were a lot whiter, and the headlights were more of blue.
actually, from what i have read and talk to the cops about, if it is amber or white it is legal. as long as it can be seen in broad daylight. that can be hard sometimes with white, which is why it isnt very popular. i got pulled over for speeding and i believe he picked me bc of the hyperwhites in the corners so im gonna think about going the silverstar amber route.
I really appreciate all the replies. I'm a n00b when it comes to modding my car (in case ya can't tell - I need all the I can get!) I plan on getting the Silverstars for 1) the look and 2) the actual light output/increase in visibility. I do a lot of early a.m. & night driving so the more I can see the better off I am.
Edit: after some looking around, I may try clear corners in front w/ultra bright lamps (or I may go w/Silverstars first, check the contrast...), but clear/red in the tail is out. I'm too iffy on whether or not I like the look, and the cost (>$160) is a bit prohibitive for my budget. If I could do all clear, all the way across the back that'd be one thing, but I'm dicey on the red/clear combo...

Corners must blink amber and reflect amber, brake lights must emit red light and reflect red. I went ahead and got clear corners and clear bumper lights anyway - and it had a sticker on the box saying it was for off-road/show use as well. Both have amber bulbs in 'em. I think it's dumb to have regular white bulbs for the blinkers because it's hard to see in daylight. A few months ago I saw a white integra (looked to be about a '99) with clear bumper/blinker lights and although it had its blinker on it was hard to see. The fact that it was white just added to it.
