Buy bodykit from ebay

have anyone bought bodykit from ebay for their Gen3 camry? I saw a replicate of the showgun kit (retail about $1044 at Erebuni Crop or www.sppliers.com ) at ebay call JDM cyber bodykit for $240 +$150 s/h

are they good quailty and are direct bolt on..or does it need some modification.

it is worth buy it since its is 1/8 cheaper there then order it directly from company that produce them?

i read some of the feedback from other buyers..and some say..it fit and its a well quailty product...while others say their bodykits are poorly made and cheap.

ever heard the saying "you get what you pay for?"

it usually applies to this as well. You'll probably end up paying the same amount as the real kit in fitment and everything.. but then again I could be wrong. I have never bought a kit off ebay nor know anyone. It could be a good or bad experience for you. I don't plan on buying one either b/c money is tight for me so I'd rather pay for the real deal and not have problems rather than being stingy and having to go through the hassle of all the extra work for a half assed kit.
just my .02

I got one, the R34 BW bodykit for my '03 Matrix XRS. I just picked up in L.A. though, 'bout 7 hrs. round trip but i know the area. It's made of fiberglass and could use a little modification. If u get 80 grit sandpaper it will take the edges down pretty good just to get them even and such. For the rest of it use 360 grit sandpaper or a little higher so it doesn't take a lot of the gel coating of top off. Use the 360 to clean the edges up real nice too. Just in case some areas crack due to force of putting it one get some fiberglass resin or the repain kit and it comes with everything u need to patch any cracks up. First sand down the area that your gonna repair so that it sticks better and apply on both side for better durability. After that just sand it down to match the rest of the areas. Yeah, mine fit really good i have to do a little bit of a mod on the back to keep it from flaring out from the body.

Bad idea. It's a knock-off kit that has no guarantee. I wouldn't buy an Erebuni kit anyway. From what I hear around Cincinnati, they are junk. I would go with Wings West. If they don't make a kit for your car look @ extremedimensions.com.

watch out for extreme dimensions....my car is the reason it says 4 door only on the swift kit. there were several fitment problems and a pain in the ass. It also had to be heated and pushed in several times on the back sides so it fit the car. After all this the sides cracked out from the pressure. Upon contacting ED they said they would pay for the cost of fixing it and getting everything good b/c they misrepresented it......ended up coming out of my pocket b/c they were going through a "managerial switch". bunch of bs. i won't buy anything from them again

i was worried too about buying a body kit off ebay. i decided to buy a TRD body kit for $200 shipped! couldn't believe my eyes...ususally TRD kits sell for $700+. It was a 7-piece kit (which includes the rear lip). When i got it, i could tell the body kit was used slightly before, but no scratches anywhere. Also the rear lip spoiler was MISSING

But what onehotcamry said above, you do get what you paid for. I had a spoiler already so wasn't too mad...and I had to repaint it to match my camry so it looked brand new anyways (trd kit came in dark green color)

guess what i'm saying it, don't be surprised if the kit is 1. damaged 2. missing somthing or 3. not what you expected.
