problem with rear spring and shock affecting tires
i just upgrade my 96 camry with 17in konig prophet wrap with 215/50/R17 tires. since the wheels are wider then the stocks, its also have a biger diameter (about .5 in taller) then the stock wheel.. this give me a problem...
I notice that in gen3 camry; the back spring lies on top of the tires. Since i just upgrade my wheels..there is a tiny gaps between the spring (about .5 in) which mean the tire barely touch the springs...in that case i wont be able to put people in the back seats, since it will affect the shock and the tire rubbing together.
Do i need to uprade my stock shock and spring too...or what should i do to avoid my spring from rubbing the tire?
i have try smaller tires (215/45/r17) , but it affect my speeding rate as well
any suggestion? help
