How long do Tokico struts last?

I have tokico struts with eibach springs for about 40,000 miles now. (got them when my car is about 55K miles, now it's at 92,000 miles). I know i drive alot - alot of out of state places.

anyways, when i go over bumps recently, I noticed a "clicking" sound coming from my right rear tire area. it sounds like the springs, or more likely struts, are squeaking or adjusting themselves? never really had this problem before so not sure what it might be.

Also, the problem started AFTER i had my tires rotated...you'd think it had something to do w/ that?

you'd think it's my struts? or maybe I need to balance my tires (i didn't after rotating tires?)

any other suggestions of what it might be? thanks

Sounds like it could be your strut mounts. I had a different experience though. I had the same problem as you, but it turns out that the thin bar that's kinda like a little arm that folds and connects to the top of the strut was lose. This little arm has a threaded bolt attatched to it, and slides into a tiny hole at the towards the top of the strut right behind the tire. Check to see if that nut is tight. In my case, the nut ultimately fell off and the bar flapped around. So I had to get a new nut and make sure it was very secure. Good luck.
