i believe you have the groud controls, right? if so ive heard that its possible you dont get any grinding noises. i used to have a cheap set of coilover sleeves, and they popped, creaked, you name it. all just when it turned. the reason you hear this is because the bottom of the spring is metal on metal- and it scrapes because of the spring being tighter.
on your normal springs, there is no adjustable sleeve and its metal on rubber, and the spring will also bend throughout meaning no movement at all.
as long as you dont hear any knocking when your car hits a bump, or rebounds from a bump, its fine. if you want to fix this- i would recommend either getting a thin heavy duty donut shaped rubber to put in between the sleeve perch and the spring. also you could try lubrication..
