How do i remove my front doors speakers ? my driver's front door speaker doesnt work and i want to have them both replaced ? what is teh easiest way to change them ?
me and my dad pry the bottom of the door panel til the speaker and his hand would fit, and put a screwdriver there to hold it open (we were WAY to lazy to take it off)\
but im prolly gonna have to soon cus theres a rattling coming from both

gotta take the door panel off (prolly any gen camry) then its 3-4 screws. its a pain to take the panels off though, especially from around the door handle bezel thingy
i count like 6 screws for the gen3. 2 by the hinge, like 2 under the pannel, 1 or 2 on the side, 1 under the arm rest, 1 in the arm rest, and 1 in the tweeter....mabye more than 6...
i just changed mine this afternoon, i stuck a flat-head down inside the speaker cover, and then it popped right off, and then there were 4 screws holding the speaker in place. gen3.5
easy peasy!

Yeesh... some pretty crazy ways you people have of getting to those speakers. It's not like taking off the door panel is hard... just some screws. Takes me about 3-5 minutes per door.

^^^ absolutely necessary IMO if you plan on running your own set of speaker wires into your door for your new speakers. I know I couldn't have done it without taking the whole panel off.
