Question Will a Vis Invader CF hood look good on my camry?

I'm having a hard time deciding on if I want more performance or "flash"/visualness of my camry.

Was debating on if I should get the Vis Invader CF hood.

what'd you guys think? i'll describe my car so you'll have better idea of what it looks like(sorry no current pics yet).

2000 camry LE beige color
blacked out angel headlights (Gen 4.5 headlights)
clear corner lights
Trenz billet front grille (bought it from trd4life...thanks man, hoped you shipped it )
TRD 6-piece body kit minus rear lip
OEM rear spoiler
17" Sport Edition Fox 2 wheels
lowered 1.25" with eibach springs
altezza rear lights
all rear emblems removed except toyota symbol in middle
tinted windows all around

with what I have visually, do you think a invader cf hood would look good?

Also, people have recommended getting hood pins, like Sparco hood pins? is this correct?

some "noob" type questions...sorry just want to get everything answered before I plunk down $500 for a cf hood (feel free to flame me if you want... but be gentle )

1. The stock hood has the shocks that keep the OEM hood up. Will I be able to use the shocks too w/ the new CF hood? or do i need to buy and/or use a new stick to prop up the hood (like the cars in the olden days)
2. Probably dumb question.. will CF hoods pass inspection? i know...you may me afterwards but in TX it's pretty strict inspections...don't wanna fail it.

so any suggestions or info would be great. wow, everyday I learn more about car stuff, and then i still have noob questions.

I don't think carbon fiber will look good on a beige car...

Are your rims gunmetal or black or dark at all? If yes; I retract my previous statement.

BTW your car sounds really cool! I can't wait to see pictures!

id say go for it, allen (UFOz) is rockin a Cf hood on his tan car (if these two arent the same color like i think they are sorry) and its hot. i DONT THINK the shocks will work, well they might...i dont remember if they were too long when compressed to let the hood close or not...however im 98% sure that my buddy with an accord can still use his so im not sure. ill try to check mine tomorrw and get back to you. i dont know what kind of inspection your talkin about so i dont have an answer for you there...

how much did painting your car cost- to silver? I was thinking about that too (silver or black).

I heard it's like $1K-$2K for a decent job. Is that true?

Yes, That true. It could be even more.

I have heard tho, If you do the prep work yourself, A maaco job can be alright. But don't quote me on that.

I just remember that many problems arised over bad prep work by maaco and people who did their own prep work weren't as pissed over a maaco job.

And Im more of a performance guy so I'd probably say drop the hood and save for a turbo. But, I guess you could also call this a performance mod since it reduces the weight greatly. It'll give you that extra .01 second. I'm indifferent on this one. What ever you pic, I'm w/ you.
