hey everyone, I have a problem with my car, the car won't start or crank what soever. I changd the starter, I have a new battery.
The only things I can tell you is that both the ECI IGN fuse (15 A) blew and the Starter Fuse (5 A) blew, both located inside the dash. anyone have any advice on what the problem can be!!!!!
Sounds like a direct short, check visible wiring for frayed or bare wires. Also retest your battery or try a different one. When does the fuses blow?, after connecting battery, or turning on the ignition?, or when in the cranking position? Replace old fuses with the EXACT same kind or you'll wind up with expensive fried parts.
to check to see if ur NSS (neutral safety switch) is out: turn ur key to ON
at the starter, theres a blk 10guage wire (smaller wire), jump this wire to the battery to see if it turn over and start. if turn over, ur NSS is messing up.
if NSS is messed up, try move the shift-stick back&forth and try starting again.

about the new starter: Has the starter actually worked.., did this problem crop up immediately after replacing starter and battery, or was life hunky dory for awhile after the repairs. I'm betting your new/rebuilt starter is toast.
Check the new starter for bad contacts. To do this, have someone hold the key in the start position while you tap the starter with a hammer. If the starter then turns, the contacts inside the starter are bad. This is a common Toyota problem and it can happen even with a rebuilt starter. If that is your problem, do a search for starter contacts. This is an easy DIY fix.
Since the fuses don't blow anymore after the new parts have been installed then they damaged something that is now not working properly. Just trying to point out a few things you could miss out on. This needs more specific help, which I cannot give. Goodluck
if you didnt try the starter thingy i said ur starter is either mess up or the 4 guage wire 12volt (+)constant is not plug in. its simple as that.
