Ok I just a 95 Camry LE just last week and how it runs is still new to me. The car has over 111,000 miles with a 2.2 4-cylinder engine. Three times today I ran a 0 to 60 test on the car and I got around 10 second for each one. I'm kind of curious on what the original Hp, Torque, and how fast it could do 0 to 60 when it first came out.

I also have a 1995 Camry but with 97,000 miles on it. I am pulling the same 0-60 times as you (10 sec.)
Try researching Car & Driver or Road & Track or Motor Trend. Go to their web sites and look up past issues. You are probably gonna have to go back to 1991 when they tested the 1992 model. I know yours is a 95, but the engine is the same from 1992-1996 (5SFE).
To my understandin this engine has 130HP at the crank not the wheels which is where it counts. The 0-60 times when the car was new should be around 8 seconds. Keep in mind that age and mileage are factors that can affect any cars performance or lack thereof. I hope I helped you out.

Just today I had the engine flashed, the transmission oil changed, and the fuel system cleaned. The transmission oil was black and engine oil was very dirty. I don't what type of oil and gas the first owner of used. But right now I have the engine and the transmission running on Valvoline Full Synthetic with another additive for each one and with a third additive called Zmax witch does what oils can't do.

I haven't done another 0 to 60 test yet. I'll do that after I get the tune up down on it. But the car is running a lot smother than before and the acceleration has greatly picked.

Better add these. I did what you went to CarAndDriver and bounce all around yahoo trying to learn as much about the Camry as possible. I do know as cars get older and the miles starts getting up there. You might just have to spend a little more to keep its performance up there.

I've done a few 0-60 tests on my V6, it's always been in between 8.3 to 9 seconds...but of course, it's pretty inaccurate if you take into account my reaction time....
