Angry heatshield rattling under car

i plan to remove the shield thats near the catlic converter soon does anybody know the best way to remove this

i definetly would not remove it permanetly. toyota put it there for a reason. however if you plan on putting it back on you will want to spray the bolts with penetrating oil the night before(WHILE THE EXHAUST IS COLD, PENETRATING OIL IS FLAMMABLE). this probably should be fairly easy since your from texas where rust is less of a problem.

My heating shield used to drive me crazy !! Then I got rear ended, and now, I dont even hear it anymore......problem solved..

why dont you just tighten the bolts?

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
