I went to a local grocery store and in their automotive section they had Wagner TruView headlight bulbs for $19.99 each, and if you buy two you get a $20 rebate making it buy one get one free. I have Silverstars for my lowbeams (9006) and I've been wanting to change the highbeams (9005) but because I rarely use them, I didn't want to pay for Silverstars.

Anyway.. I bought them but haven't opened them yet. Anybody have experiences with these? I think one of my relatives has it in her car (her friend put them in) and it is whiter than regular halogens but it was daytime so it was hard to tell.

I'm just debating whether or not to return these and get Silverstars if I can get them on sale.

I can barely tell a difference between the TruViews and the stock bulbs. Ah well - it was cheap, just $10/bulb after rebate. It wasn't completely dark when I tested them so I'm hoping it's at least slightly brighter. This just reinforces my opinion of Silverstars... Silverstars all the way!
