I dont know if this has been covered, but i think i found a 95 2DR V6 SE Coupe for sale and was wondering what the difference is between the SE and the LE or XLE...
SE was Sport, usually almost fully loaded. LE was nicely loaded. The XLE was the fat cat special, fully loaded with very few options left.
Different body trim levels for all the above plus Base/DX model. You could option almost everything however so you had even more crossovers. Same engine options.
Amerikim said it best- the Le came with a decent amount of power features (locks , windows , mirrors, cruise) the XLE typically added moon roof, usually leather, nicer radio. The SE is the performance side of the equation- typically spoiler, alloys, stiffer suspension. Depending on what GEN you are looking at some options overlapped, like leather could be had on a LE or XLE. Power seats could be on LE and XLE. I have a 98 XLE that comes with all the power features, leather, six speaker cd, traction control, no spoiler. Usually your local dealership's used car manager could shed a little light on things. If you can swing it go with the V6. It actually can yield gas mileage close to the 4 banger, because it moves the car around more easily. Unless of course you are on the throttle to much with the six Good luck
holy shit gman240. i just realized ur from RI. i am living down at URI going to school. im definetly not messing with any gen4's until i find out what ur car looks like. i dont wanna get schooled by your sc'd v6. hows the torque steer in that thing???
95camguy- I live off of Shermantown. I know how to manage the torque steer, but it can get rough. My Camry is grayish with the badges removed and a noticeable 3.5" by 5" tailpipe strapped on a full 3 inch exhaust. Some 16 inch ASA wheels, nothin crazy, I still want some ride quality and I want to remain sleeper-like. I am more of a Audi S4 guy but I don't like spending that much right out of the box and property tax is too much to justify. Plus I have one of the most reliable cars on the planet, so the odds are in my favor beating the snot out of it on a regular basis. Study hard. Justification for higher education.
XLE = all a/t; with dual power seat options and flush spoiler and std alloy wheels
LE = everything XLE has, but tranny starts from m/t and there was a a/t option optional wheels and optional spoiler (not flush like XLE)
SE = (this i think)...only 2 doors and m/t; also comes with non flush spoiler and wheel package. gen 3's (not 3.5) had black inner tails.
I have a 98 XLE and it has no spoiler- though I like the flush mount. I could use a spoiler for those high speed runs. NeOz31 is the se you are looking at a stick. The go pretty good and offer some decent gas mileage. Condition is everything though- pay a little more for a great condition car.
The Se is the Sport model that has sport seats (more lateraly support), normally has leather, the V6, stiffer suspension, moon roof, spoiler, and the Coupe never came in the XLE, only, the DX, LE, SE. But the Se is on sedans as well, also the SE from 1994-96 has an Automatic Transmision, while th 1992 and 1993 models came only in 4 door models and had a 5-speed manual transmision, (these are the most rare 3rd gen Camry's) The coupe is also kinda rare compared to the wagons and sedans

Any of them can have a spoiler. The SE was a little lighter and came with a slightly better suspension. The XLE is the luxury model. It was much heavier due to the electric adjustable seats, large gas tank (I believe) and extras. The LE is the base model. Nothing impressive or special about it.
And yes it has been covered a few times. Search first next time
