The V6 idea originated in the states. As far as I know there have been about 7 conversions done in America. The V6 fits straight in there, no cutting. The engine is mated to a MR2 turbo gearbox, custom made flywheel, custom made s/s exhaust manifolds + exhaust. I have a friend putting a 3vz-fe engine into a mk1 MR2. As for power I would guess around 230bhp and 230lb/ft torque. It has a sound to die for.

so cool!!!! When you "mated" the engine to the tranny, did you have to make any mods for them to bolt up together? Doesn't look like there's any room for additional parts-like a supercharger. Is there enough room?

About how much did all that cost? Did you do the swap yourself? Nice work, suddenly my 5s-fe doesn't seem like all that
