PRND2L - Instrument Cluster Bulbs

Alright, my cousin is going to be putting my reverse-Indiglo gauges in next week and since my "O/D" bulb went out I thought I would ask...

1. Is it hard to change the bulb?
2. What kind of bulb is it? My searches on TN lead me to believe it's a 74.

Any input would be appreciated. Even better if he could also change the PRND2L bulbs as they're getting dim and the "D" goes out from time to time.

Gen 3.5 by the way...

Thanks!

i always thought they were speical bulb, i recalled someone selling those bulbs on TN for like 3.50$ each.

Are they like colored or is it the tint. Because it would be great if i can turn all the stuff Red and N would be Blue. that would be nice.

You are talking about in the dash itself, not on the gear shift, right?
They are weird screw in bulbs in plastic holders. I went to two different dealers and they both sold them for about $2.50 a pop. One of them had the green covers and one didn't. Green covers are removable by cutting them off. They are a Toyota only deal so don't bother going to Honda or other dealers. They are soldered to the cap so unless you got great skills....
I have not seen LED replacements..would like some to try if anyone knows.
Also when you have the cluster out, shine a flash light back there to light up the PRND2L panels, you will see a few that are not in use. You can poach those bulbs and save yourself a few bucks.

^ he's right, they aren't 74 bulbs, they're smaller ones that are soldered to plastic bases...

and about hte green covers...they can actually just be pulled off, they're just on really tight
