^^^
exactly what userlain is saying...

What exactly are you asking?

I have an aftermarket deck in my Gen 5 and I'm not complaining. Obviously the sq is better and it doesn't look awful or like sh it; actually I get more compliments... because I'm still having new projects done.

Are you saying it looks disgusting because you want to put in a single din? And you don't want to put in a double din in your deck? Vis Versa.
What about having a shop custom fiberglass your deck if its THAT ugly?
Just wondering, because it all depends on what you do to the interior to make it ugly or nice such as what kind or type of headunit you purchase, what kind of installation you want to have done; with the aftermarket kit (scoche, meca etc); or like mentioned, a fiberglass made for your deck.

I'm not the fashion police and I'm not flaming or arguing, I just want to know your input of what you really want to do with your car?

Oh and why did you want one again? Are you planning to do car audio?

yeah... i wanna drop my jbl amp and ed sub in my ride....

i was just saying that it was ugly because even with the dash kits, aftermarket HUs are not flush with the console. It kind of sticks out of the dash kit.

BTW arent all the dash kits identical?

Just have it installed where you buy it... If it looks bad, it will no matter what. You'll have to deal with it, unless you want to make yourself a new dash...

Yeah, the dash kits are the same, just different name.

Other than that, I am too an eD fan; good stuff. I'm ready to sound deaden my car; however it has been really cold lately and delaying the progress.
But I can't wait to install their products once the weather clears up a bit.

As for the dash/head unit etc... If its all that ugly; then like SmokingTires said; having a audio shop custom make a dash for you. And you know what that means, I want to check that out after you complete your setup along with your review on eD's product etc.
