My grandma has an 03 camry that she just bought last year. the other week she was backing out of a parking spot when someone doing the same thing hit her. It was both of their faults leaving a little scratch on the other car and a cracked left lense on her camry. AS of rite now, she has tape over the crack which is about 4 inches long. I would like to know how to take off the whole plastic so we can buy a replacement. I can see no screws or anything, so any help would be appreciated.
Her car up until last year was a 90 camry which she bought new, and it only has 60k on it. that got into a fender bender and was all taped up in the front, so we do not ant to go back to cars with tape holding parts on them together.
thanks,
-Adam-

It will come out as an assembly, There are nuts on the inside under trim. The lamp sockets twist to the left and straight out to remove bulbs. When removing the assembly the seal will be somewhat tight.
It should be fairly straightforward. Remove the plastic covering inside the trunk covering the taillights, remove the plug/socket, remove all screws, and have your new part ready. I am not sure if it will need a gasket because on our Corolla there is a gasket for each taillight--you get that at the dealer I think, haven't done it yet.
Make sure you also replace the bulbs and grounding correctly.
ok, thanks for the help. ill check it out. and yes it will be expensive im sure.
