differential/ auto tran fluid

I was looking at a repair record on my car and it said, the differential fluid needed to be changed, would it infact mean that the automatic transmission fluid needed to be changed or are they different. This car is a 1993 Camry I4 Auto. Sorry about the long post, but I have another question about the rotors on my car, last week when I would brake, it felt like they were warped and this week, no pulsing, could it be possible that the warped rotors leveled out?
Thanks in advance,
John

The fluid for the transmission and differential is seperate.

They both use the same type (Dexron II/III ATF) of fluid though.

Doubt it. Once their warped, they'll stay warped. Only way to fix it is resurfacing the rotors (if their not badly warped) or replacing the rotor(s).

If you have a micrometer you can measure the thickness of the rotor at several spots.

You can also check them using a metal ruler and feeler gauges.

i have the same car, you will need to lift and level the car and drain this using a 10mm allen wrench, or allen socket. the fluid is not shared.
