Obviously they make a lot of $$ off the shipping, and I am skeptical on the price, but the description does explicitly state T304 stainless... 15 HP? Bullshit, of course, but with a Camry you buy mufflers for sound not for HP. So I'm not concerned about that.
I have to admit, and flame me all you want, I kinda like the DTM look, but you'd likely have to hang this muffler low enough to clear the bumper that it would scrape.
Again, this was just a thought, I'm not saying I'm going with it... will likely stick to the original stealth plan

well you'll have to add some kind of extension if you're going to install that, the stock muffler is huge compared to these... If you want it to show just extend it out a bit further so it'll clear the bumper
it says "up to 15hp" htey couldve said up to 1500hp but then oh well if ya force inducted then having a restrictive mufller hurts a lot
i bet the insides mild steel

^^ Yea, the HP claim reeks of BS for sure... Definitely some sort of custom work required for installing this, and yes Gen3 exhaust is huge... and I never saw ehaust routed into the SIDE of the muffler til I got this car
But Toyota knows best, right? I found some nice Dynomax Super Turbos on Ebay so I'd get one of them to stay stealth instead, my buddy can weld it up at his shop so it wont cost me all that much

I don't like those kind of muffler because it puts black crap all over your bumper where the tips are. It never fails how new or old the car is... a big patch of black soot where the tips are
That muffler actually looks pretty good. granted eBay mufflers are probably going to sound like crap, but i do like the dual slash tip design. just try to find one that isnt angled up, save your paint on the bumper.

What's with everyone and these mufflers? I see that style on hondas all the time. It's a muscle car style tip, who would think it would look good on an import? Two GIANT tips curving upwards, it looks like it was mounted wrong or something

Actually, the DTM style was created in the British Touring scene if I'm not mistaken. Alfa Romeos and the like used them. Not quite muscle car
Just looked it up:
DTM = Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft or German Touring Car Masters
^^ Yup, this is a rice style that originated in racing believe it or not...
I suspect the high shipping is done deliberately to compensate for teh cheap cost of the muffler. Not to worry, TN faithful, I'm not getting it... sticking to my original plan...
