Strut Cartrages

Hey everyone,

I got myself some H&R Springs and some Tokico HP shocks. I was getting ready to install them a few days ago when I realized that:

A) My HPs (got them off ebay) are Strut Cartrages and not full struts.
B) The Struts on the car have all parts firmly welded into place.

Here's what I'm wondering. What is the name of the part that the strut cartrage plugs into and what is it going to run me? I've looked around google and the forum but I all can find about suspension parts in relation to struts is that they're called struts. Not much help. I figured this would be the best place to go for answers. Any help would be much appreciated in addition any heads up would be nice too. This will be my first time replacing suspension, but I am well aware that if the spring comes lose it will rip me to shreds.

Thanks for your time,
Luspher

those strut cartridges you have are for sevicable struts, you have nonservicable ones. TO use the cartridges you bought you will have to find sevicable struts off another car. I dont think they sell strut shells, who would want to buy them.

i would sell the cartridges you have to someone who can use them, and buy complete strut assemblies.

Good idea, I was thinking about that. Do I need to look for a specific type so it fits right, or should it all be the same?
