The early gen3 Camry and ES 300 tail lights have holes.
I took my ES 300 marking off my bumper (the plastic is old and faded) and found out the hard way.

I think you can tell by looking at them. I think all CAMRY letters have pegs. I looked at them on my car and the back of the CAMRY letters touch the paint. But looking at the back of the XLE, V6, and T symbol look like they have adhesive behind them, so I am assuming they have NO pegs. Look at yours and see if it looks different then that, and let us know. Maybe that will be the KEY to seeing if it has holes. If there is adhesive on the back of the emblem or not.

on the real tho i think you need to take the emblems off on your own and find out. because as you can see you get mixed reviews on the pegs regaurdless of any year or style or type. if you do take them off and find pegs just stick them back i guess or paint them. tahts the theory i'ma go with. if there are no pegs then just take them off. if they have pegs spray them black :P but from what i've heard a good 90% of people would say that
"T" has a peg.
93 Japan assembled Camry with holes everywhere. Toyota, Logo, LE and V6.
I took mine off to paint them black. They had thick layer of adhesive so thats not a good indicator. Will shave them some time in future.
