Australia Wanta Turbo my 3SGE Camry

G'day.

I'm in the middle of nutting out the way to turbo my 3sge camry, I have had experiance with twin turbo 1JZGTE's and 2J's, but this is the first time i have tried to turbo an N/A car

Firstly I should tell you that this car is my 2nd car and I use it for running around, It's to be as much as an engineering project for me as much as getting better performance out of this car, I'm not looking to make this a 9sec drag car, I would like a mild increase in power.

I have a 3sgte exhuast manifold, I have a VERY good tco6 mitsubshi turbo, and a ct26 I have ain't crash hot, either way it will be one of them, making an adaptor is no problem, I am not at this stage going to run an intercooler ( maybe later) I'm thinkin of running the oil feed line out of the oil pressure switch ( tee it off) and them once the oil goes thru the turbo I'm looking at running it back thru the dipstick making a y piece at the bottom of it. I would like to run around 5-6 psi, and I will be using a 2.5 inch exhuast system, I'm not sure on the fuel side of things yet either.

Has anyone done this, or since I'm new to this forum is there a thread on it.

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Dave
