Unhappy Camry 1 is no more- but im still part of the toyota family! 56K press Alt F4

just thought id let you guys know, my car was sold as is to a guy at the dealership shortly after i left for a trip up to northern ohio on thursday... my step dad called me to tell me he sold it (i had no clue he was going to, didnt even get to say goodbye).. but then bought a Scion XA RS 1.0

if you are wondering why it got sold, its due to financial reasons cause that car was getting to be a complete money pit- on top of its high insurance costs.. it needed a new clutch, new tires, probably a new tranny actually... it was time according to my family.

reasons why i like the RS even before seeing it:
-5spd
-17" enkeis
-bright red (only 1500 RS's were made)
-moonroof
-"sport grille" w/ no scion badging on the front
-line fitting spoiler on the hatch
-NEW CAR!!!

reasons why i will miss my camry:
-now i have a 1.5L as compared to a 3L!
-back to the drawing board :/

what i had

what is coming tomorrow (sunday)

Sorry to hear. Poor Camry, I like the color of it. Look at it this way, someone might have the money to fix her up and someone will love her.

But Congrat on your new scion.

thanks!

its a little thing called money lol.. the xA will probably be a lot better than the tC will ever be for useability... the hatch and 4doors make it a much more friendly campus car. although i would still have been uber-psyched with a tC

Baeutiful, me and my fiancee were looking at Xa's until she lost her job, we had our eyes on a phantom grey with rims and spoiler. Test drove it too, those suckers have pick up for having like what, less than 100 Hp.

the past 3 days i have been scouring the scionlife forums.. finding out anything i can about performance and stuff like that. it seems like the car has a lot of choices for forced induction.. most of them giving the 108bhp car a 50% power increase (boosting it to about 150bhp). keep in mind this car onlly weighs 2300lbs. it runs a 15 flat in the 1/4mile with one of the kits.

i might get the trd springs installed by the dealer, to keep all warranties in tact since its brand new. when i find a graphic design internship, i will buy the car from them and make the car run 15s- keeping the exterior exactly the same.

I would kick my parents in the teeth if they sold one of my cars.

Cool

Car looks good! I hope yours looks the same!

No worries. I've all ready seen one turbo kit finished, and one building in Australia for the 1NZ-FE's.
