unusual uneven tire wear

this is a 96 camry. it was slightly hit in the front driver side. now theres wear on the inner and outside of the tire. the middle treads seem to be alot thicker then the inner and outer sides of the tire treads. anybody have any clue what it could be? pictures can be obtain if needed but its easy to make a mental picture of the tire.

Sounds like low tire presure, usually a small alignment adjustment is to be expected when you have a small accident, but that would effect both tires.
Unless it wasn't a small accident(?)

well...it was slammed into the side bridge wall at around i want to say 50mph. only the front driver's side was touched tho. could it be anything to do with suspension or frame? it was driveable after the accident...wasn't that bad. the rim was messed up bad.

If you hit, it will throw the whole suspension off. So both sides qould get messed up. An alignment should cure that.

However the wear does sound like low tire pressure.

if it was only wearing on one side then that woudlve been alignment.. both outer edges sounds like low pressure (another person saying teh same thing) i have the 15" wheels and drive 40psi front and 37psi rear. if youre saying thats too much on the front, id rather stay driving on the tread, not the sidewalls
