Replacing windshield washer reservoir

I have a 98 with a cracked reservoir. Anyone know how to replace it and what the cost might be? I think my dealer wants $150.

i say find the crack and some epoxy .... you should be good for another 2 years i did that to my coolant reservior. but to replace it you would have to take off the under trim on that side of the car unblot it it wll have to be taken out the bottom, and then in the same way.

I've googled and can get it online on ebay for $40. It was also my guess that it comes out the bottom.

good lord $150 for a plastic bucket. My advice, give the dealer the finger and ebay it...

I'll be going the same route soon, I patched mine to hell but my car's 11 years old and the seams are going on it. I have probably more plastic-weld on it than plastic, and it still only holds about half the amount of fluid it should and will leak if I go over a bump or something. I was patching it for a week straight (patch one spot, find a new leak), going to forget it and get a new reserviour soon, but frankly, it's not a high priority. Good luck with it.

if you did replace the reservoir ,where did you find the replacement and how was removed?

Have u seen the crack? Mine leaked on the 96, but it was a piece tubing. A short piece of new tubing at NAPA for .65....hasn't leaked since!

$150? Stop Thief! I'd get one from a junkyard for $5.
