Instrumental Panel / Guage

I have a 2000 Camry Le which is currently at the body shop cause some idiot hit my front bumper. but before all that happened one of the bulbs went out on the instrument cluster. the speedometer area. i took it to the dealer and they said $180 to replace the $4 bulb. i was like wtf. so after reading and searching here i see yall changed the color of the instrument panel by just changin the bulb. all this time i thought i had to change the gauge face. how easy is it for me to took out the dashboard and change the bulbs?

on my 05 camry se the panel lights up amber with red needles. i wish it was blue. so i am kinda confused on how the needles light up a diff color and bout the gear indicators.

thanks.

Not sure on the newer gens, but I would get a Haynes/Chilton manual if you don't have one already, it should say how to take out the dashboard.

As for the bulbs, you'll probably have one bulb for each gauge, and one bulb for each needle. Replacing them will be easy once you get the dashboard off, just unscrew the bulb you want to take out, and screw in the new bulb. You'll have to find out what bulbs you need and probably get them first, but it shouldn't be difficult to replace.
