Hi
I have a 94 Camry 5sfe and i was wandering if there was any way to get a Toyota Spark Plug wire set, other than from the dealership. Im trying to keep everything toyota because i heard it was the best for the car and the most performance. Does anyone know where else to get them from. THANKS
i dont have a problem with the name brand wires from kragen/checkers, or pepboys, or autozone cause if i remember right they come with lifetime warrantys so if you wires go out, or u just wanna replace them, u take them in and theyll give u a new set. thats way cheaper than buyin toyota parts time and time again

I have no problem with that if they fit right. On my model, Toyota caps have that weird outer seal to prevent stuff from getting in the spark plug hole. I think I was at a store and that was pointed out by a parts store employee. Needless to say I didn't buy the wires but I continue to shop there.
The moment before they crack, that's when you should replace them.
Plug wires are more of a "lifetime" part that may last less than a decade, or may last a few decades. It depends on a bunch of things from storage, weather to engine bay conditions. There is no set time, you simply keep an eye on them until there is a problem.

JIT engineering Toysrme? Same with timing belts too. www.ngk.com or any of the Toyota Online places. Some dealers will sell it to you at trade prices instead of suggested retail. There's always Magnecor but they are not cheap.
edit: If you do a search on here, there were a number of reports about how Bosch wires were not the way to go. They broke up way early.
