Arrow Widest Tires / Lowest Profile, on stock XLE 16" Rims

hey guys just wondering what is the widest tire I can put on my stock 16" XLE rim, i belive the rim is 7" wide, i currently have P205/60/16 in front, and 225/55/16 in the back, im wondering if I can go 225/45/16 in front and back? Thank you.

I don't think they're 7".....I think they're 6" wide....

first off tho why are you running a staggered setup? camrys aren't rear wheel drive...

and IF the rims are 6" wide, which I think they are, the 225s are too wide (safety speaking) for those rims.....and if they are 7" wide, then those 205s aren't the best idea for them either...

so first off, you should check to make sure if your rims are 6" or 7" and then proceed accordingly...

Here is some advise

Aleks77-Here is a suggestion since you are having a hard time getting any attention at this point to your question. Call the pros at Tirerack.com. They can answer just about all of your aspect ratio, rim width questions. From viewing all the cars on cardomain and here at TN the maximum would be 225 - but you said you had confirmed that the stock 16"s are 7inch...I really don't think so. As the man with cow that eaten said...6 or 6.5, my guy guess 6.5. Again the tirerack guys would know for sure and get you on your way to the right combination for your car and driving prefernces and climate. Wheels and tires can make all the difference b/w enjoying the ride and regretting your decision. It is what connects you to the road so choose wisey and do the research. I run 215/55/16s on my 98 V6 s/c Camry with all season for NE weather. When the weather breaks I will look to some 215/50/17s with some sticky, good in the wet and dry sneaks. Good luck~

Buddy you already asked the same question just few months ago.

No matter how many times you ask, your 16" stock Gen4 wheels are 16x6", not 16x6.5" nor 16x7". The widest width tire that'll fit on those wheel is 215.

Get it thru your head.

LOL
Ditto

they're not 7" wide

If you're going to post a thread to ask, it would be nice if you actually read the replys instead of asking the same question again and again
