Hey guys,

quick question what are my chances passing a state inspection with my check engine light on?
can u guys give it to me in percentage% ....THANKS....BTW i did oil change, air filter change....but not any major tuneup...

i would say 0% if that light's on.. they don't even pass you if you got the SRS light on and that has nothing to do with emissions

I passed twice with the Airbag light on. The CEL is another story.

I did ask already if they would check it with the check engine light is on...they said yes but it still might not pass depending on whats causing the light to come on...but in May of this year if the check engine is on they wont even try it anymore with the new Machines they got coming out ....i was just asking how bad my emission would be....cause i hate coughing up about $80 just to get my car dignose
