Fuel System Cleaner?

What's your preference - do you use one or not? If so, what brand?

I've used STP fuel injector & complete fuel system cleaner in my Gen2.5, most recently used Valvoline Hi-Mileage fuel system cleaner in the Gen4.

Mr. Lube has a 4 stage system... car feels amazing after getting it done.
Do it every 25,000 km.

I throw a can of anything in about once a year . 97 4 cly 162000 km . Don't believe it does much but? Injector cleaning is a hoax in my opinion. Ran an 86 volvo till last summer & never did anything more with it either - still going strong when sold mileage never suffered enough to warrant the service expense

For me probably twice a month. I use Vavoline with synthetic cleaners, works really well. Keeps all the injectors and the whole fuel system clean of deposits.

I've always used Regane...as recommended by many engine builders out there.

Cool

Seafoam.

$5 a can, and you can use it for oil system/crankcase, intake track, and fuel system cleaner.

Good shit if your running higher octane.

I use STP once in a while. You can pic it up in three packs at target for like $5. Good deal. I run it whenever I think about it, it's not a big deal unless you are having problems.

Do you guys actually feel a difference though, instead of maybe "thinking" that you do. Not to sound rude at all. I haven't used any of these products and I was also thinking of buying some.

they aren't for performance gains, they're to maintain performance. You won't feel anything different unless your fuel system is horribly clogged. But using them will keep your car from getting clogged. Which is in your best interest
