I had some Cool Blue head lights put in about 2 to 3 months ago and i just noticed that the lights suck!! Took me awhile cause i don't really drive at night all the time. I think they suck cause when u pull up next to a car w/ regular lights u can hardly see urs on the ground...... I'm just wondering what do u guys think is the best headlight brand to get.... I know PIAA's r good but they cost too much and i don't wanna go over the stock wattage... i don't have any money to replace that harness if it gets messed up. I also got my corners cleared out and i put some APC Supermax Xenon bulbs in..... those damn things r bright then u turn on the turn signal, O BTW do any of u know the wattage of those bulbs?

What do u guys think about getting 35% tint on the camry for $139? is that cheap or just right? My bro said that its too much cause he had his old Ford truck, now gone he just got a LOADED Trundra, tinted for only $110 but he only tinted 3 windows....

FYI my camry is 98 Green w/ stock spoiler, its a V6, and clearouts....... thats all i have...... its freakin hard to get my dad to buy anything for the damn car!!!! BTW my dad said no to the tinting

Aite later

You sound like me, I'm doing all this stuff to my parents car! My dad goes mental when he sees me doing stuff to the car. He saw me drilling a whole in the car, for sidemarkers and he went crazy, but he was okay after the light was put in and all. My cousin had cool blue headlights, they were garbage, so I got Eurolite Fusion bulbs... they are pretty nice, they also give an actual blue tint.
Tint, I say thats a decent price becuase the guy quoted $160 for me.... That was a Tint World...
Where are you from, you got any pics of your car?
Thanks
Shan

I have Nokya Arctic Purple headlights. These things rule! Anyway, yeah, get those

that tint price is good, i'm guessing its for the rear 5 windows? (behind the driver and passenger)

Welcome!
I just recently replaced my stock headlight bulbs with some PIAA xtreme white plus about 1 1/2 months ago. I think they look really nice, and the input wattage (51 watts) is lower than the (limit wattage 55 watts) for 9006 bulbs, I'm sure 98 camrys have different type of bulbs for headlights. So far, no problems. The light is definitely whiter. My stock bulbs were just barely brighter. With headlight bulbs, as long as the bulb has input wattage lower than the input limit, it shouldn't mess up your harnesses.

They are a purple pink type color, can't explain it. I think what they are saying is that in the brightest spot, i is "like" 90/100w. They arn't really, but they do seem a hell of a lot brighter

Hey CamryDriver03, i am kind of in the same situation you are in. My dad also won't let me do anything to my car. He only got me a new muffler after i got rearended. If it weren't for that accident, i would have never gotten anything. He says its all a waste of time. I am going down to my local shop to get some hyperwhites so i think u should go with the Eurolite Fusion bulbs, which are the ones i am getting. Also, i think that tint price quote is preety good. Oh, i wanted to ask, where did u get ur clear corners from and how much did u pay?

U can get them either here

http://209.87.151.155/search_results.asp?txtsearchParamTxt=Toyota%20Camr y%2097&txtsearchParamCat=8&txtsearchParamT ype=ALL&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchPar amVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch&iLevel= 2&subcat=21

Thats where u can get them at but i got mine at procarparts.com but the damn S/H is $11 and it takes a week to get to u, i think $11 is a freakin rip-off but o well i got it anyways.....
U lucky u got a muffler if i had an accident my dad would just leave it alone... thats what he did after someone hit us in our 4runner but anyways what kinda muffler did u get cause i'm thinking of getting one when i get a job (which isn't anytime soon but o well  )
