Yup, thats right i just finished my 9005 conversion, it took me 5 minutes a bulb. All i did was take a small drill and grind down the two guiding things on the inside and i filed down the top so it would turn right into the 9006 socket. oh yeah i did thr 9005 conversion on the silverstars but i didnt like them because they werent blue, so i got some lights from my local speed shop, these lights are 65W and are for off road use only, the dude told me there bright as F***, will post pics as soon as the darkness arrives...
Badazz lights, ya know what brand they are?
I might want some for mine, running Silverstars in the highs and the stock 9005s in the low (not enough $ for another set )
Good to see another 9005-converted camry in NC.

man i love these lights now, vision on the road had improved like 200X, i needed a change b/c with my old 9006's they were not bright at all, so everything turned out as planned
That looks pretty bright. You said you modified the silverstars. Can you put the silverstars in one side and the other bulbs in another side to do a comparison? Maybe post some pics of the two?
yeah good job. those lights are pretty damn bright. but how is the output? i mean when you're driving and not looking at it from the front?
i love my modded 9005 silverstars. when you look at it from the front, they don't look much brighter than stock (it is but not much), but when driving at night, the output is so sweet! very bright, white. i'm very satisfied with them.
but what brand are those bulbs you have there?

I gotta try this because I have no high beam since my switch is messed up and driving on the road with ordinary low beams suck even with brighter bulbs. Plus I wanna blind those fuckers that blind me with their damn HIDs.
umm sorry i cant put the silverstars in because after i modded them and they werent what i liked i smashed them on the ground, but its all good because i got them for free , anyway the output is 65W, and yes there bright as shit head on.
