spark plug/throttle help

Hi, I just bought some NGK Laser Platinums and Sea Foam cleaner. Now the platinums are double electroded, so the gap is supposed to be between each of the electrodes right? (1.1mm). Also the Sea Foam I bought, can I use it to clean the throttle because my gas pedal gets stuck at red lights/stop signs. Can anyone take a picture showing where to clean it because I have no idea where it is, thanks!

its inside the body where the butterfly valve is that is operated by the gas pedal, use an old toothbrush, then clean it up and leave it in your sisters bathroom

I have never bought NGK laser plats, but I do remember them as being factory gapped with a warning on the side of the box they came in about how you were NOT supposed to gap them.

If your throttle is stuck open at a traffic light I would check throttle cable at same time. Also go looking for the springs in addition to cleaning.

I had the same question about the plug gap on my 1998 5SFE engine when I replaced the plugs with Denso platinums at around 60,000 miles. I called Denso's tech support line at that time and the tech told me just to put them in as they come out of the box. I have put 15,000 miles on them since and they run fine.

got all that done, runs so much better now, smoother acceleration, no more sticking! the ngks were not pre-gapped, had to gap them, box said to gap to manufacture's engine specs. my old plugs were..well..really really nasty looking.
