ahhhh car stalled out after driving thru puddle

i was driving to work and left a few min early so i could get some food for lunch, i pulled onto the roadway in the left lane since there was a car in the right lane.
i saw a pool of water that covered my lane of travel, it was deep on the drivers side and was shallow on the passenger side.
i was going about 35 and whooosh.

i was glad that i didnt hydroplane and hit the car next to me, so i pulled ahead of them and then i was getting off the highway and as i was going down the offramp the car stalled.

that only thing i could think of was shit i didnt have any tools, so i coasted to the side of the road and looked in my glove box for at least a screwdriver to take the screws of the dist.

except the screwdriver was stripping the damn bolt, i didnt have any tools so i stood in the rain with tthe hood up, and this guy stopped and i explained the situation. asked him if he had an 8 mm socket and bingo!!

took it off and dried it out and replaced the dist cap, and it fired right up.

all those times i have stopped for people, i actually had a problem and somone stopped for me.

the whole ordeal was about 15 min, the funny thing is i used to keep tools in the trunk, AND i work for a cell co. but i never have my phone with me, and today was no exception
