The only problem is that, that stupid check engine light is on... it is getting me kind of worried. My dad keeps yelling at me every time he stpes into the car..
Do you know what the problem could be.
The light originally came on when I had just the pipe and the cone filter. I have a CAI now and the light is still on... any ideas on why it is still on?
BTW - When I took off my old stock filter box to paint it silver the light stayed on for a couple of hours of driving.
It has been 1-2 days now, and the light is stil on... I was beging to get worried
Anyone else who has made a CAI for their Gen 3 Camry, has this happened to you?
Please reply ASAP
Thanks in advance

It won't turn off unless you bring it to the dealer to have it reset.

Hey, did you make sure that all your hoses and MAF sensor are plugged in?

To clear your check engine light, make sure the car is off, open the main fuse box in the engine bay, look for the EFI fuse, remove it, wait 10 seconds, then put it back in and restart your car. Drive around for 5 minutes and see if the light comes back on. If it doesnt, then good for you.

later.

With all the SS pipe, the paint, the clamps and everything, including the filter, it only cost me altogether about $80 for my whole CAI
