Canada Front Speakers

i have a 96 camry and the 2 front speakers located in the doors do not work. i have no idea what happened, one day i turned the radio on and only the rear speakers worked. whats goin on?

wiring may have came lose or may it just so happens the speakers broke.. but i have a hard time believeing both front would break at the same time.. probably some wire problems.. check into that

Check the plug at the radio. www.installdr.com has the plugs layed out. You can use a 1.5 volt battery and a couple of jumper leads, apply the 1.5v battery voltage across the connector pins for the speaker and listen for a crackling sound from speaker if noise is present speaker and associated wiring is o.k.
