for long term savings reasons i'm only going to do a few mods to mine, body kit, cai, full exhaust system and lowering springs.

the trd s/c is about $7k aussie just for the unit

ahoy hoy! yeah im an aussie too! i own a 1991 Ultima (gen 2 camry) down here in good old melbourne, well the south eastern suburbs neway. there r a few done up camrys round here. two of my mates r also doin theirs up (ones a csx gen 2 model and another has the wide body) i gots me a cat back exhaust and pod, planning extractors, hiflow cat, lowering, and perhaps when im no longer a poor student perhaps a 3sge swap.
theres a guy here in clayton that has the v6 gen2 camry with a bodykit! itz so nice! trying to get in contact with him to find out where he got the kit.

how nicely are you prepared to ask?

are the casings the same between the models? I do like this model - whatever that triple cone synchro thing on 2nd gear is, it works much better than many other boxes i've tried. Not quite up to 911 standards though

Im doing a conversion..so my trans is an auto atm.
With the manuals from 92 up..i believe all the boxes are the same..but synchro's and ratio's where improved.
