what happend to ctmotorsport and their project of making 1 peice projection headlights for the gen3 camry??????????
That's quite an a project. CTM is run by one man (sean) so don't expect things to go blazingly fast. I'm sure we'll see them barring any serious problems.
So far I have had 4 vendors back out after I was quoted, many more just hang up on me when I mentioned Camry and a couple after the prototype was done I had to cancel the project due to the quality.
Does that mean I have given up? Not a chance. I still have the lenses to mock everything up and am currently waiting for some people to finish projects for other people as they make their way down their own "to do" list. This project was what brought about CT Motorsport, so expect a product to come out as soon as possible.
Just remember, it’s hard to get fabricators to do low number jobs at a price most of us are willing to pay. If I can get it for that price, it’s pointless to make because no one here will buy them, no matter how good they look.

just so u know i have a set being made as we speak... i found a local person who actually does this professionally... i've seen him do work on a dodge ram truck a civic and a host of other cars implanted with projectors... i will give you some pix of the quality of work on the gen 3 by first week febuary. hope all goes well wish me luck sean... btw havent talked to u in a while.. give me a call sometime if you're free...
as for anything else after i finish the prototype and completed everything i will start a list and start collecting a deposit for these lights of course you know that you will have to send in your stock ones or buy a new set so that they can custom fit it into your car... i'll keep u guys posted...

I have this idea, and I hope maybe we can do this. How about we only ask them to make the clear lense for us. Most of us want the projectors headlight, but we don't want those crappy projectors anyway. So, if we just get then lense for the headlights, we can just do a retrofit oem projectors in, which will give us a better result in lightning. Just my 2cents.
Another way is, if we can find a company that have lexan mr10 and make clear lense from mr10 will be a lot cheaper for us, and better result too. Lexan mr10 is very clear and strong.
what do u mean, make the headlight clear with no texture?? who would make those for us? matter of fact i think there is DIY on here to clear out ur headlights right.

He wants a clear headlight which is smooth.
The DIY is good but it takes hours upon hours of work sitting there sanding your headlight.

just so u know i will be using bmw/mbenz/audi oem projectors not cheap at all... as for clearing the lense thats something in the works... and we'll see what will happen
I got my headlights lense clear, hid projectors retro, result is good, but the lense doesn't clear as the others. If we can just spend $60-80 per pair of lenses, we will have super clear lenses, and projectors only cost you around 80-120. Total of custom made headlights will only cost around $250 max ( hid projectors), and we can upgrade our car to real hid too.
