Power Steering Fluid Drain-Fill

Power Steering Fluid change. 1995 Camry.

Somebody's done this? I have instructions but still a bit confused, and would appreciate advise from members who have done it. The fluid is the same as transmission fluid, Dexron III, might be a good idea to drain and fill to keep it fresh. Mine looks like cruddy, it is supposed to be pinkish in color.

Thanks.

jack up the car
1. drain (by siphon) the PS reservoir as clean as you can
2. unplug the lower line (ps fluid will pumped out from here), use some tygon tubing to extend it into a drain pan (just like the one you do you oil change)
3. fill the reservoir and ready to fill more (stand beside the PS reservoir with a full bottle of Dextron III in your hand and ready to pour)
4. crank the car: you will see how fast it pumps
5. repeak until clean
6. hook up the lower line, fill the reservoir
7. rock the steeling wheel from stop to stop to work the air out.
done!
