Earlier, I posted that I was going to change my valve cover gasket because I thought it was leaking but this afternoon, I stopped by an auto store, and replaced the PCV valve and garment. At that time, I realized that on my passenger side CV boot, there was oil. I'm thinking maybe its the power steering. How much will it cost to replace the power steering pump? And am I right to assume it's the power steering pump?

ohhh crap, you are in trouble if your power steering fluid is still the same color as your engine oil, that probably should have been changed around 75,000 miles. its an olive oil color from the factory. same with the brake fluid. when it degrades, it causes leaks and even pump failure.

whoops! you are right it is red, i just checked, and they stopped using the olive oil colored fluid after the gen II's, so to tell the difference between the 2, lay a pice of paper towel under the leak overnight (with a rock or something on it to keep it from blowing away). if the stain is brown, its oil, if its red its powersteering fluid (which is Dexron III ATF i believe in that gen). sorry forthe confusion.
you can decrease the size of your text too LOL.

I'm losing PS fluid and the valve cover gaskets are a little leaky on my 1MZ-FE.
Let us know how the valve cover gasket change goes. How much are they asking for a set of new gaskets? The front looks very easy to do but you'll have to take off the intake to get to the rear. With all that plumbing on there, it looks like it can get ugly pretty quick.
My fluid, though, seems to be leaking from the hoses right by the reservoir.
