Arrow Hood Rattling noise

My 95 V4, has a peculiar problem where the hood keeps giving out a rattling "tuk..tuk...tuk" noise, each time I hit a bump or hole - big or small. The hood does lock properly but not tight enough to avoid any movement. So whenever there is a jerk... the hood goes rattling ...moving and rattling itself..hitting somewhere inside.... I have no clue where..

Could you guys help me figure this one out... any help is appreciated...

you have an I4 .......

make sure the bolts at that hold it to the car are tight and make sure it's not your springs for your suspension making that noise

Hey Thanks for the reply...But, No its not from the Suspension, coz I could see the hood moving up and down due to the airflow during driving and the noise coincides with this moving and also..the noise is the same when I jerk the hood alone while stationery...

BTW, whats an I4

At either end of the frame that holds the radiator are two rubberized bumpers, they screw out using your fingers, and contact the hood when it is closed. This stops the hood from rattling when latched and causes it to pop up when you use the hood release. Maybe the bumpers need to be turned counter-clockwise a turn or two?
