cost of shaving emblems/painted panel

This is for all of you gen 3 guys with shaved emblems... what do you think the cost of having a shop shave my emblems, fill the peg holes, then match and paint my trunk would be, ballpark guess? I have absoluetly no idea how much something like that would cost...

I am also curious about the center panel... what does it cost to have something like that color matched and painted? Ive done it myslef but im looking for something cleaner... thanks a lot guys.

Damon

not sure on the prices but if your going to do that. i think it would be cheaper if you removed the emblems yourself with floss and just ask them to fill and paint. Or if you want to do another step. you can bondo the holes yourself. and just ask them to paint it.

alright thanks guys... that comes out to about $150 US

I know I could take the emblems off myself, Im just not so confident in my bondo skills that I could fill the holes, sand, and have it look as clean as I want it to.

If u get the paint yourself get Omni, it's cheaper and goes on as good as PPG paint. I shouldn't be that much to fill and sand the whole area. Well it depends on where u had the emblems at, i don't know. I'll ask my dad he does body and paint work. The paint i got for my bodykit was by Omni and only cost $25 a qt. and i still a little over half a qt. left.
