when the car is off am i sposta be able to move the tvis valve? when the car off or not reving very high the valve is in that open state .... but isnt sposta be closed at that point? do i have a bad vsv ... also has anyone wired a switch to the vsv so they can close/open (i dont know that this point) the vlave?

tvis? acis you mean? isnt there a screw on the outer side you can screw to move it? if it is the acis you mean, if its not.. i dunno how youd get to a tvis without the engine apart

aye your are correct sir i'm thinking of the other similar system ....... well that screw only adjustit how far it moves when there vaccume to the line to it .... normaly i dont have any vaccume

it will only activate when there is load on the engine, ie. you cant rev the engine in park or neutral and have it move because theres not enough load
