High Beam Help Please.

My combination switch is messed up from when I had crash couple months back, now it's stuck on high beam so I had to take out the high beam bulbs so that only the lows would be on. How can I wire the high beams onto a switch so that I can flip it on when I need it instead of not having any at all?

Cool

Find out what's wrong.
Is it a short in the wiring? The relay? The stalk?

It's the switch itself, it cannot stay in low beam so it's always in high. If I hold it in the low beam position then the low beam will be on, but it cannot stay in low beam without assistance. From the look of it you would think it's fine because it's barely out of place. You just touch it a little little bit and its in low, but it just cannot stay there. Seem like something broke or got eaten off a bit so that it cannot stay where it should.

I don't see why you don't wanna buy a new/used/salvaged combo switch and whatever else you would need to replace it with.

You could cut the red/black highbeam ground line before it splits to the separate bulb circuits. tap it on the bulb side (insulate the other) and bring it into the cab and have a 15 amp household switch controlling it with the other end connected to like a grounding nut. This, of course, would be what we in the states call 'ghetto' but it will work. Fix the combo switch.

^^Camry parts here in Belize are real expensive, no matter if it's from a wrecked car or not. Fuck being ghetto it's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for the help.
