Removing Dash lights?

I was wondering if there is any mechanical/electrical reason not to take the bulbs out of my dash that indicate the high beams are on and that the cruise control is on. Will Everything still work like normal?

I took out my bulb that indicate my high beam since they are stuck on. I've had no problems.

Ok, thanks. I drive a lot at night and the lights from the dash annoy me so I want them gone.

Except that you are blinding other drivers [you say "they" are stuck on, meaning your high beams]? Or is it the indicator?

Whoever designed the dash & indicators on the Gen4 should be shot (or at least given a big dopeslap) . I can see the "Cruise" light reflecting of the windshield; the cover over the instrument panel doesn't block that light. The cruise light doesn't dim either; what a PITA. Why on earth doesn't the damn thing dim with the rest of the lights?

I've taken out a few lights on the dash of my 94'. It was cheaper than fixing the problem.
