Any power source will run a neon light, just tap into a lead that your not using. Anything will run a neon light, if you don't smoke go with the cigarette lighter fuse. Best results though, run a relay off of the headlights. I tapped into the lines behind the dash when I did mine, so whenever I turned my lights on, the neons came on.
