hey bro sorry to bug ya about the swapping of ATX to manual, i'm sure u've gotten ur share of questions, but i've got a serious question. i'm totally fed up with the problems my ATX is causing me and right now i'm being quoted 1500 to fix it and i'm just fed up with it. was there any welding required in installing your hydrolic lines? anything that needed to be modified in any way to accomadate the hydrolic lines or pedal assembly aside from just cutting holes or bolting up. i'm aware of the basic modifications of changing tranny mounts and axles and flywheels stuff, i'm more so worried about welding and modifying as i don't have the proper tools necessary to complete that task. thanx for the input bro. sorry to eat up bandwith with yet another question on how to swap a tranny.

no welding =) just some drilling for the clutch master cylinder.

Nope. Do you have a foot e-brake? If so, then that has to go for sure for the clutch pedal. Thats easy, but yeah, just cut the holes and bolt up...

nah, no welding, just a little trimming here and there. At the firewall where the shifter cables go through, youre gonna wanna get a hold of all the metal gaskets and seals that secure the cables in place, or else you'll have to trim the stock A/T plates. But its not a deal-breaker.

good luck, it'll probably cost you less than $1500 USD to swap to M/T, so smart decision.

latez.
