I don't know if this has been asked before but I'm kind of stupid and lazy and don't fell like searching though 34 pages of threads. My question is do camry's have an air filter for the cabin? I have 98 toyota camry 4 cylinder le.

i dont believe camry's have cabin air filters, altho the newer ones may, like the 02-05 modles, i know for sure that gen3's don't!

Gen3's don't, newer models I don't know.

04 and 05s definately have an air filter, behind the glove compartment. Don't know about gen 3s, I have a 93 and if there was a filter there I would want to change it but I don't think that there are any

Cool

Gen3+ Camry's have two means of air filtration.
The outside air filter:
No stock Camry has this filter installed, unless the dealer puts it in. They only do that when a custom asks for it. (hidden option)
From my '93 ES 300.






There IS a cabin air filter. It is mounted on the blower unit, which is located behind the glove box. (No pics, you're a tard if you can't find it) It is a typical foam filter that wears out.
All Toyota blowers have this installed.

so my '95 has one? cause l've looked to see if i had one, cause it really does make a difference in that way the air smells when you change it

do you know what the number or the "code" number pf the filters are? so that i know what filter will fit in it?
